I’ve known Jim since ’98…back when we were in the same small group at my college church, Covenant Fellowship Church in Champaign, IL. We’ve kept in touch through the years…Jim has always been a good friend to me through the years…and I was excited when he called me about his proposal plans…
And then…this just happened…a few hours ago…
Grace and Jim were walking down North Avenue beach…then onto the pier…there were a lot of seagulls flying around…the sun was setting…Grace had no idea what was about to happen…
I was hiding with a bunch of teenagers…sniping these shots…when the seagulls disappeared…and all that remained was the two of them…and the gorgeous Chicago skyline!
And of course…she said yes! Here she’s checking out the new addition to her ring finger!!!
Jim picked out a great spot to propose…North Avenue beach has an amazing view of the Chicago skyline
