Chicago Wedding at the Trump Chicago Hotel
Had a great time with Lauren + Michael at their wedding last month at the Trump Hotel Chicago! I had a great time capturing their engagement sessions this past year- If you missed their engagement photos…
Chicago Fall Lincoln Park engagement session w/Lauren + Michael
Night time Chicago engagement session w/Lauren + Michael
I had a great time working with Lauren + Michael through the whole process…before the first engagement session…Lauren was so nervous…she was shaking! And Michael was a little reserved too- but after the jitters wore off…I’m so happy with how natural these two were in front of my camera on their wedding day! So many great wedding pictures!
A quick shout out to Chris + Oliver from Chris + Oliver Cinema who did the videography for Lauren + Michael. They do amazing work and I can’t wait to see their wedding video on their blog! And thanks to my second shooter Tom for a great job covering this wedding with me!
First off- a gorgeous wedding photo of the bride and groom over looking the Chicago River. Taken on the 16th floor of the Trump Chicago Hotel.
A photo of her gorgeous Palazzo Wedding dress!
Pearl necklace-
And of course…a photo of her Jimmy Choo wedding shoes!
The guys were getting ready…and Michael had some personalized details-
I fell in love with his grandfather’s Cartier watch he chose to wear.
Love the smile – so happy on his wedding day!
And I love this portrait of Michael-
Upstairs in her Trump Hotel suite…Lauren was putting on her finishing touches
A mother daughter moment…both of them fighting to hold back the tears-
Her bridesmaids couldn’t resist taking a photo!
A photo of the beautiful bride-
A wonderful portrait! She looks amazing!
We walked around the Trump Chicago Hotel & Towers for some photos. We started on the 16th floor – I made sure to get the Trump Tower mirrored glass in the background-
I love the way they look at each other in this photo – you can feel their joy on their wedding day!
Caught a crazy number of reflections in this one photo
So many laughs and smiles! It really makes my job so much fun! =)
Down at the Trump Tower riverwalk. Signature Chicago bridges in the background-
Walking on the river walk- with the Trump Hotel Chicago Pillars on their right side-
Bridesmaids photo!
Groomsmens picture! The guys kept saying all these funny things behind Michael- helped to keep things loose and fun!
Again…someone said something hilarious!
The ladies looking all confident as they strut underneath the Trump Hotel
Guys are trying not be out done-
Found some greenery in downtown Chicago…I like the mix of urban and nature- Not to mention the great colors
The iconic Marina towers in the background- Nothing says Chicago like the ‘corn on the cob’ buildings! =) That’s what I called them as a kid-
And for the last creative photo of the day…I LOVE this Vanity Fair inspired photo of the bridal party!
They had the traditional Jewish Ketubah signing…and there was a hilarious moment when Michael was reading his section!
A photos of The Grand Ballroom at the Trump Chicago Hotel all set up for the Jewish wedding ceremony. For those that don’t know…the large structure is called a huppah.
Walking down the aisle-
Lauren is all smiles! =)
Another Jewish wedding ceremony custom
And my favorite Jewish wedding tradition…the breaking of the glass! Mazel Tov!
The card table outside of the Grand ballroom-
Wedding favor…truffles!
A picture of their wedding cake-
Their centerpiece with the Trump Pillar lit up a spotlight with tree branch motif
A room photo before all the guests arrive-
First dance photo! The large Trump windows make it feel so regal-
Lauren is so happy! =)
A great toast by Lauren’s parents-
A toast by the bride and groom-
Time to dance!
The best Jewish wedding tradition at the reception is the Hora…when they pick up the bride and groom and everyone is dancing! So much fun!
The tree motif…and the reflection in the Trump ballroom windows-
Thanks Lauren + Michael for having me as your wedding photographer! You guys were so great to work with and we took waaaayyyyyy too many photos! =) There is so much joy and love in these pictures!
Can’t wait to share more!
