Today was the most amazing weather for a rooftop wedding at the NEW Hotel at Midtown Chicago! Although it’s 12:30am…I wanted to upload a few teaser pictures from today! It’s possible that Lauren + Jeff will view these photos while hosting their penthouse suite afterparty!
As a wedding photographer in Chicago for the past 10 years, I am always excited to shoot in a new wedding venue. But it is even more exciting to be shooting THE FIRST EVER WEDDING AT THE HOTEL AT MIDTOWN CHICAGO! Lauren + Jeff had the vision to see and ask about having a wedding there before the rooftop was even complete!

The Hotel at Midtown Chicago boasts a rooftop deck with an unobstructed view of the Chicago skyline! Wedding guests were able to watch the sun set over Chicago throughout the reception!
When you walk through Midtown Chicago, you can’t help but notice the impeccable modern luxury interior design throughout! Love this reflection shot on top of the Midtown Chicago lobby staircase! Photographer’s Tip: Don’t be afraid to break the rules: I hardly ever angle wedding photos…but this felt so much more dynamic with a slight angle!
