What a magical day indeed. It had been forecasted to rain…perhaps even snow all morning the day of Brittany + Eric’s wedding. But in true Chicago weather fashion, you just never know what will ACTUALLY happen! As a Chicago wedding photographer veteran (15yrs experience) we prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and help with everything in-between!

The Presidential Suite at the Intercontinental Chicago is one of the best rooms in all of Chicago for getting ready photos! Lots of natural light, amazing decor, and lots of space for everyone!

These moments with Mom may have only lasted a few minutes, but they will last forever in their hearts. Mom was enjoying every second of it and was trying to soak it all in.

Since the precipitation held off…we went for a walk down Michigan Avenue for photos! Love how the dress flows perfectly with the motion of their dip!
Everyone loves a good “crossing Magnificent Mile” photo!
Just a magical photo with the Chicago River in the background! We love the blurry background – often imitated by the ‘portrait’ mode on your phone…but this is how it is done with the proper camera lens! But what REALLY makes the photo…the joy on their faces!
Eric just couldn’t stop smiling!
We almost think this is a perfect photo?! Love the vertical lines, the juxtaposition of strong vertical buildings with the softness of their expression and pose. Brittany’s body position just perfectly accentuates her wedding gown!

Great Events Chicago always puts together an EPIC dessert table…and if you haven’t had Levain cookies yet…next time you are in the West Loop for dinner, be sure to stop by! This is my favorite cookie in the whole country. I still remember the first time I ate it in NYC! Was thrilled when they opened one in Chicago in 2022!
