Chicago Botanic Garden Proposal

Cristian was the man with the plan for his Chicago Botanic Garden proposal. He had the date, the time, the place, and even how he wanted Lizeth to stand on the bridge. He also coordinated the family so they would be hidden but able to pop out to witness the special moment!

Shout out to the family who all made it out early! Often times, a surprise or photoshoot is delayed due to late family members…so thankfully Cristian did not have to stress about anything as everyone was early.

Here they are walking…moments before they get to the Japanese garden bridge. The plan was for me to look like a typical garden member walking around with my camera.

They got on the bridge, we interacted a bit…she had her back to him…Cristian got one knee…and the rest is history!

And she was all smiles =) =) =)

While they were sharing their special moment, their family was witnessing it all at the foot of the bridge

A proposal is a special moment…it’s great to share that moment with loved ones who supported you through out your journey. Lots of hugs and lots of tears-

The Chicago Botanic Garden is such a photogenic destination. Beauty around every turn. The Japanese Garden bridge is perfectly framed by these two large willow trees 

We made our way to the English Walled Garden for more engagement pictures. Love the layer and layers of texture, greenery and flowers.

Love the shapes (circle, straight lines), the texture of the brick and foilage…and of course we love their expression!
