It's been quite the journey since I started this Chicago wedding blog in 2007. Photography is more than something to post on social media. It's a time capsule. Stopping. Freezing. Holding a moment forever.

 

There is no greater privilege than being trusted to preserve these moments for the people I love working with.

 

Wedding photography has brought me to the rooftop Cupola at The LondonHouse and on to the turf at Wrigley Field. Not just documenting people, but our ever-evolving city, one frame at a time. One love story at a time.

Needless to say, I think she was not expecting a proposal! These moments are so special…I love being a Chicago proposal photographer!

In the midst of all the emotions, she was able to smile and say YES!

The tears continued to flow for a few minutes afterwards as her body and emotions were still processing the moment!

Photographer’s Insight: I love how the triangle of light highlights their kiss and cuts across the vertical columns! In the middle of the strong lines…their sweet embrace! Also love the contrast of concrete/stone and flowers and greenery!

Paige & CJ are into fashion, so I made sure to include a couple photos that look like they belong in a fashion magazine!
