After spending a couple hours with Shomari and Natasha at the Garfield Conservatory for their engagement photoshoot a couple months ago, I was really looking forward to spending more time with them at their wedding. They are both so caring and loving towards their family and friends.
I also want to give a shout out to all the wonderful people I met at the wedding including those from www.chocolatebrides.com – I think it is awesome that you are more than an internet community, but that you have become friends and even witness each other’s marriages! I guess you ladies REALLY are like family! =)
Natasha and her friends made these bouquets…
Natasha got a little emotional after the dress was on…she got a little dabbing help from her maid of honor.
We went across the street where the leaves where changing colors and the wind was moving.
A few more tears when Daddy shows up…
I had never seen this before, but it was pretty cool…
Holding up the broom…
Praise dancers…there were three, but this was the most dramatic image…
Four cups. Marriage is through all kinds of times. Bitter (vineger) times. Sour (lemon juice) times. Tense (hot sauce) times. Sweet (honey) times.
Natasha is smiling as Shomari drinks from the bitter cup.
Jump over the broom and it’s official!
This best man had a memorable speech. You just had to be there…
Shomari’s reaction to hearing his best man’s toast…
This kid loved the camera. I would just stop what he was doing and give me a cute smile whenever I was around. A little ball of energy that was up the whole time!
to the left, to the left, to the left, to the left…to the right, to the right, to the right, to the right…
This couple was hilarious! Check out this move…one of the many…
Chocolate brides love…From all different parts of the country.
Catching a kiss underneath the veil…
One of my favorite shots of the day…
And one last shout out to Armand! He’s a videographer from St. Louis. You can learn about him from his website, www.exousiaprod.com. He had some great shots and pans throughout the day. We just had to grab a shot together at the end of the night. It was great working with you Armand, keep up the good work!
The last photo…and my prayer for these two.
Thanks you guys! It was a wonderful day! Keep Him in the center of your marriage and continue to seek Him in prayer…
Nailah AdamaOh! These photos are absolutely gorgeous! Looking at them brought back all the litttle moments that made this day so special for my friend.
Natasha NICHOLESKENNY,
I keep thinking that you can’t surprise me anymore with your gift, but once again I am completely FLOORED at the result of your work. I never thought that anyone else would appreciate all of the details that were put into the wedding, but you made sure to capture them for me, so even in old age I can remember. THANK YOU so very much! You are a pleasure to work with and ahem….now that you are the “family” photographer I am sure that I will be seeing you again. God Bless!
