Creative Royal Melbourne Wedding Photos
I’ve known Linda + Rick for a long time…Linda and I went to junior high together! She is now the 4th person I’ve photographed from Fairview South (Thank you Facebook for helping reconnect old friends!)! Rick and I also went to high school together – and go figure…Linda + Rick dated for a brief time in high school! Their relationship was rekindled years later and now they are married! What a story! I was thankful to have been their wedding photographer to help capture their special day! Here’s one of my favorites from Royal Melbourne wedding photos!
Found a reflection for her creative wedding dress photo!
Definitely had to take a photo of her Jimmy Choo shoes!
She had beautiful Swarovski jewelry –
One of her jr bridesmaids…affectionately known as Linda’s ‘mini-me’Â
The ladies with their matching sweat getting ready outfits-
She carried this photo on her wedding bouquet- in memory of her late father
A beautiful portrait of the bride-
A few photos of Rick –
Found a cool reflection for this creative picture
A few photos together before the ceremony starts!

We didn’t have a lot of time for photos…but we did manage to get a full bridal party photo!
Royal Melbourne Wedding Photos: Ceremony
For those that don’t know…in Japanese tradition, it’s good luck to have a thousand hand folded origami cranes gifted to the couple at their wedding! Their wedding officiant happens to be my Aunt! This wedding was a “Nakai Production” =)
One of those moments, that only a few people witness…Linda’s mom has a huge smile on her face!
They honored their parents by serving them tea-
After we finished with family photos, I was able to get the bride and groom outside for a few photos before the reception began!
I love her smile in this photo!
Royal Melbourne Wedding Photos: Reception
During the reception, Linda + Rick changed into traditional Korean wedding outfits!
First dance-
Linda danced with all five of her nephews – it was so cute and fun!
Thank you Linda + Rick for having me as your wedding photographer! It was such a wonderful celebration! I’ll never forget that dance with all of Linda’s nephews! Soooo cute & funny! I hope you are able to relive your wedding day through your images!
with love,
Kenny
