I’ve known Makoto for a long time. We grew up at the same church, went to the same high school and college, and served together on numerous occasions. I’m so thankful to have a friend like Makoto, someone who you can be yourself around, knowing that you are going to be there for each other when the need arises. And though I’ve known Makoto for such a long time, I can honestly say, I have never seen him smile as much as he does when Grace is around. She brings out a side of him I rarely see.
I loved all the details of their wedding. Starting with the Independence Grove in Libertyville, IL to the colors of the dresses and suits, Grace really knew what it takes to put together a beautiful day.
