We caught the tail end of winter for Matthew + Mari’s Chicago engagement session! As an engagement photographer, I love exploring our city and finding cool and unique perspectives of our city! Thankfully Matthew + Mari were more than happy to explore Chicago with me!

A unique view of the skyline down the Chicago river! The ice patches on the river remind us of this past winter! Matthew is an amateur photographer himself, and I always appreciate it when other photographers ask me to photograph their engagement sessions and weddings!
I love the strong shapes of the river ice juxtaposed with their soft embrace!
