One of my favorites from Olive Park – I may have gotten covered in spiderwebs crouching down in the weeds for this photo! I wanted the sun directly behind Matt & Christine!

In the midst of all the emotions, she was able to smile and say YES!

The tears continued to flow for a few minutes afterwards as her body and emotions were still processing the moment!

Photographer’s Insight: I love how the triangle of light highlights their kiss and cuts across the vertical columns! In the middle of the strong lines…their sweet embrace! Also love the contrast of concrete/stone and flowers and greenery!

Paige & CJ are into fashion, so I made sure to include a couple photos that look like they belong in a fashion magazine!

This special moment started when Kishan surprised Puja by revealing that he had spent hours answering questions in a relationship book. A book that they were each supposed to fill out, but Puja thought he didn’t have the time for it. She was both surprised and moved when he showed her! And then, with her emotions running high, he got on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage! Kishan and I had previously coordinated this exact spot for their Chicago skyline proposal photos!

The Adler Planetarium has the best unobstructed view and is a wonderful location for Chicago skyline proposal photos!

Chicago Indian Engagement Pictures // Chicago Riverwalk

We started our time together with what Puja THOUGHT was just a normal engagement shoot in Chicago! We took photos along the Riverwalk and made sure to incorporate some of Chicago’s iconic architecture!

I love how casual this picture looks and feels!

Photographer’s Tip – Balance out points of interest in your composition! Here the Wrigley Building clocktower is balanced with their smiles on the opposing corners of the photo!

As with all good Chicago Indian engagement pictures…we get as close as we can without touching! =)
