Best Luxury Wedding Photos at Loews Chicago Hotel

Just two weeks ago these two were married at the Loews Chicago Hotel! The weather was perfect and they were able to take advantage of their rooftop space! These two were so excited during their wedding ceremony, they kissed three times before the official ‘first kiss’! Their rabbi had to slow them down!

The Loews Chicago has mirrored blue windows and it makes for a beautiful background when on the rooftop terrace!

Since the ladies had a confetti tossing photos, I thought it was only fitting that the guys tossed….skittles? When the groom loves Skittles and Starbursts, you make sure there is plenty in the getting ready room!

We had their first look on the rooftop, and I love this moment!

Photographer’s Tip: I love the strong lines and symmetry, but I also threw in a reflection for a little visual impact!

Photographer’s Tip: Sometimes you trust your gut. I originally just wanted to have them walking…but then saw a shot through the pendant lights. I love how they frame the bride and groom!

We went outside to take a few pictures in the Chicago streets! We found the most perfect spot with a little bit of an elevation change so you can see the street behind them! Chicago is flat city, this may be one of the few ‘hills’ downtown!

 

I’m a wedding photographer that is always looking for great ‘light’ – I love how we found a pocket of light in this plaza that brings a lot of depth to this image!

The pigeons who always pick food off other people’s plates! Can’t believe we caught this moment!

We returned to the rooftop for a few more bridal party photos!

And we end the night with one of best shots of the day! A kissing dip on top of the Loews!
