Last weekend was the most amazing Saturday of the year! The most perfect day for Sojin + Ha Uk’s downtown Chicago engagement pictures! We started their downtown Chicago engagement pictures by the Chicago Riverwalk! Nothing says Chicago like our beautiful architecture, rivers, and bridges!

Were able to get a little lens flare for a couple photos before it hid behind the clouds.

Even though it was a crowded Saturday afternoon, we somehow got a few photos with minimal tourists in the background!

We headed out to the Adler Planetarium for their Chicago skyline engagement pictures!

I love how this Chicago skyline engagement picture says ‘Chicago’ without the Willis or Hancock tower. That diamond building in the background pretty much says ‘Chicago’ for all of us locals!

Congratulations again to Andrew + Kim! After he proposed, it was a pretty easy decision for these two to get married in Chicago…the city where they last spent time together before COVID shut the world down. It was also a pretty easy decision to have their wedding at The Langham Chicago, one of the top luxury hotels in the country! (don’t believe me, just read about it: US News & World Reports) Their lobby is extremely photogenic and we made sure to include their Christmas tree for these winter Langham Chicago wedding photos!

We took a stroll outside for a few winter Chicago wedding photos! I apppreciate Andrew’s attention to detail…and I’m sure he will appreciate the perfectly centered, symmetrical composition in this photo below! Strong lines throughout the image…leading lines to the bride and groom…and yet the curvature of their dancing provides the perfect balance!
