Sharon & Lawrence. They grew up less than ten miles away from one another in Chicago suburbs. And yet they did not meet until they were both living and working in San Francisco. And they hit it off. =)
I also want to give a shout out to my friend Sandra for referring Sharon to my work- that’s how I get most of my business- through a referral!

We started the morning at Sonia Roselli Esthetique – one of Chicago’s premier cosmetic boutiques.

We spent some time in the downtown area of Lake Forest – I love this quaint little suburb!
Before the wedding ceremony and creative portraits, Sharon and Lawrence had a ‘first look’ moment to themselves. He was blown away!
The ladies were trying to stay out of the background of my shots while still trying to see what was going on! Look at the expression on their faces!

The reception was held at the Armour House at the Lake Forest Academy- an amazing venue! One of my favorites-
The Armour House at Lake Forest Academy has an amazing garden that has an ethereal feel to it.
Sharon surprised Lawrence by singing for him- he hadn’t heard her sing before- even though all her friends have told him what about her great voice- what a wedding day gift!
It was one of the more moving moments of the day-
And then during the first dance- they busted out the moves!
