I think the mother in law jumped the gun with grabbing Atit’s nose! =) It was pretty funny how surprised everyone was!
Amy’s family comes from the Sikh tradition…so they held a Sikh wedding ceremony! This was my first time photographing a Sikh ceremony- I love this aspect of being a wedding photographer…having the privilege to witness all these different wedding ceremonies throughout Chicago! Wedding ceremony decor by Yanni Design Studio. I love this photo of the Sikh priest…

During the Sikh wedding ceremony…everyone sat on the ground on white sheets.
Everyone came up to throw flower petals on the newlyweds!
Before they changed into their Hindu wedding outfits…we took a few creative photographs in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Ohare. I love the complimentary green and pink colors…and the strong horizontal lines broken up by the softness of their hand holding.
They looks so great! The pink looks great on the brown background!
For their Hindu ceremony…Yanni Design Studio did a phenomenal job with their Mandap! The top is filled with white and pink roses!!! Unreal!
