Reggie Bush Joins The Birthday Party Project in Chicago!
NFL running back, Reggie Bush, joined The Birthday Party Project in Chicago yesterday! The Birthday Party Project started in Texas by Paige Chenault to celebrate the birthdays of children who are homeless! TBPP was recently brought to Chicago by Beth from SQN Events and they recently expanded to a second location at Cornerstone Community Outreach! Since Reggie Bush’s charity (Reggie Bush Charity Weekend) gives to The Birthday Party Project, he wanted to attend a TBPP bash himself!
If you don’t know anything about The Birthday Party Project, be sure to head over to their website and learn more! While you are there, sign up to be a volunteer in your city! They have parties all over the country! It’s so exciting to throw a huge birthday party for kids who may not have the resources to have such a party on their own!
With a flood of volunteers, a normal room becomes a Hawaiian Luau!
Birthday Party Project Volunteers! Shoutout to all the TBPP volunteers and site coordinators that put in all the hard work for these parties!
Let the party begin!
Fun activities + games for the kids!
It was great to see Reggie stop and talk with all the guests…he signed autographs, posed for photos, and made the kids feel like they were the most important person to him in that moment- These kids will never forget the day an NFL player stopped to talk, fist bump and laugh together with them! To be seen and celebrated is such a powerful gift. #joychangeslives
Reggie got in on the limbo action!
Reggie: Thanks for coming to Chicago and giving these kids a lift! They will never forget this party for the rest of their lives!
