Phil & Averi’s eSession

A couple weeks ago, I got to hang with my friend Phil and his fiance, Averi. They are both teachers and love working with children. I’ve known Phil since he was a freshman in college…may be even when he was in high school? Anyways, it is a blessing to see how God has worked in his life through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes group at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. It is also cool to hear how Averi helps out at her church by teaching a Sunday School class for the kids.

This photoshoot was a first for me in this sense: The sun had already begun to set. Though we didn’t have good sunlight, we were pleased to find a full moon out that evening. Something that I never photographed before in an eSession. For all you astronomers out there, you could probably calculate the exact date that we had this eSession. =)

We were hanging out by the Adler Planetarium, as this was the location where Phil proposed to Averi.

The ring of course….

It was a beautiful day…as evident by the sailboats out on the lake….

Hanging out at the 12th Street beach shelter, which is right next to the Planetarium.

A clear night, with the moon reflecting over the water….

My favorite pic of the night…on the spot where he proposed…

Congrats guys! I’m looking forward to the wedding!
