Chicago Engagement Photos!

I can’t wait for Jackie + Peter’s wedding next week! We had a great time in Chicago for their engagement pictures! Jackie + Peter love bookstores + libraries, so we headed to a fabulous little used bookstore on Michigan Avenue called Selected Works Used Bookstore!

But first I want to share what was easily one of my favorite engagement pictures from the night. Everything came together so perfectly for this photo! Their pose, the river, Wrigley Building + Tribune Tower! Chicago at night…at it’s finest!

Chicago Engagement Photos at Night!

We decided to take some engagement photos at night! We started on Michigan Avenue by the Wrigley Building! I love the walkway and the Wrigley Building architecture! It’s such a unique challenge for a photographer to take photos at night without any flashes! It’s my way of keeping the photos ‘real’ and a little romantic! =)

Peter is an architect, so we made sure to incorporate the Wrigley Building and the Tribune Tower in the background of some of these night pictures! Not to mention the Chicago River and the bridges!

Chicago Bridges and the light reflecting off of the Chicago River helps make this photos feel so romantic! Engagement photos at night are just so unique!

But we didn’t stop there- we found a cool CTA train stop for more photos!

I love the leading lines and the little smile on Jackie’s face!

And one last engagement photo at night- in front of the iconic Chicago sign!
