Best Engagement Photo Locations in Chicago – Riverwalk – North Avenue Beach
They chose some of the best locations for their engagement session photos! Here’s one at an epic spot in the with the Chicago skyline! As a photographer, I love taking pictures at night – they are so dramatic and romantic!
Photographer’s Tip: The strong metal frames literally ‘frame’ the couple. The metal is juxtaposed with the trees and balanced with the Willis Tower. The couple is perfectly centered as all the drama revolves around them!

Chicago Riverwalk Engagement Photos
We started their session down at the Chicago Riverwalk! There are gorgeous views of the river, Wrigley building, and bridges!
The Riverwalk is relatively new to Chicago…it has only been open for the last two summer! I still can’t get over this location – I love the Wrigley building in the background!

Chicago Riverwalk Engagement Photography at Night
Night time engagement sessions are so romantic! It’s an add-on to my normal engagement sessions, but they are so much fun! This is classic Chicago without being cliche! The river, bridges + the Wrigley Building! Easily one of the best engagement photo locations in our city!
Photographer’s Tip: The leaves frame the photo on top and the Chicago architecture in the background help make this work! The Black and White treatment also lends to a timeless feel to this photo –
