Pooja + Buddy had their engagement photos taken on one of the last warm days of the year! It was perfect even as we took photos at night! I love taking photos at night along the Chicago riverwalk! It’s so romantic and says ‘Chicago’ without being cliche!

We started their engagement pictures with the skyline at one of Chicago’s top engagement photo locations: The Adler Planetarium!
This location near the Adler Planetarium is always busy with boats, tourists and Pokemon Go players during the summer – It was great to have this location all to ourselves! I didn’t have to photoshop anyone out! Photographer’s Tip: Use negative space for balance and to give your pictures room to breathe!
The Adler Planetarium is one of the best views of the skyline. The setting sun was just perfect!
Right next to the Adler Planetarium is Northerly Island – such a peaceful place – away from all the hustle and bustle of our city-

The Chicago riverwalk is still relatively new to our city, and I love taking photos here day or night!
The City of Chicago comes alive at night! The Wrigely Building + Michigan Avenue make for the perfect backdrop!
Photographer’s Tip: Use leading lines in your engagement pictures to guide your eyes to the couple!
