Towards the end of the summer, I was able to spend an afternoon with Peter and Sophia during their engagement photoshoot.

I had to wait until a few weeks ago to witness their marriage. They took advantage of their alumni status to have their wedding service on the University of Chicago campus. What a location! After walking around for a bit, I fell in love with the architecture and ambience. Gorgeous weather and fantastic local make for a great wedding!

After the ceremony, we headed downtown to the famous Sofitel Hotel & Resort for the reception.

An amazing wedding cake:

Check out these entrees! Can they taste any better than they look?

Despite having many Korean friends and been to a number of their weddings…this was the first traditional Korean wedding ceremony I have ever witnessed. According to this tradition…I think Peter and Sophia are supposed to have sixteen children! =)

They also had this awesome band to get the party going-

These two guys took over the floor for a few minutes…

A shout out to my fellow photo enthusiasts…I hope you guys were able to capture some great images as well!

Thanks Peter & Sophia for a wonderful day! I wish the best as you begin your new life together!
