Dave & Carrie’s Wedding!

A couple weeks ago I spent the day with Dave & Carrie out in Aurora/Naperville. This wedding will forever be etched into my memory as this was a special day for more than the just the Bride and Groom. This was also a special day for Dave’s children: Michael and Becca.

As you scroll through these images, I hope you feel the love and connection this wedding day brought to this family. As a teacher, I have seen children cope with various difficulties and struggles in their lives. It was a blessing to witness this marriage.

Dave & Carrie were soooo into each other this whole day…to the point of ‘disgusting’ their daughter. =)

Kiku’s was the restaurant where Dave proposed. They call it their ‘Cheers.’ (TV show) So we had to go grab a photo of them sharing a dragon roll. I have never eaten here…but it smelled soooo good! I will have to make it a point to return to this place when I am out in Naperville. Who knows…I may even run into Dave & Carrie!

After the ‘traditional’ toasts were finished, Michael & Becca grabbed the mic to share a few words. Through hearing them share…I realized just how special this day was.
